P1 and P2 together with some of the P1s from St Patrick’s Primary School had a lovely Forest School shared Education day at our school.  This session was organised by Mrs Calderwood and Mrs McFadden.  The ‘Learning Intention’  for the session was for the children to ‘Learn collaboratively’  about springtime. Their activities included

  • Looking for and being aware of signs of spring in Rasharkin

  • Building nests together

  • Thinking about the types of birds that may nest in our area

  •  Identifying some plants growing in our school grounds

The children learned so much from this session and they all enjoyed the lovely sunny springtime weather.
